Turkish Coffee scrub anyone?

Hello Everyone,

Last week a couple of homemade skincare products were sent to me by Soul & Skin. They were skincare remedies made by a sweet girl from Bahrain called Reem.

Products are 100% natural.

The Scrub:

FABULOUS!! Do you like the aroma of Turkish coffee? This is what your shower will smell like after using her Turkish Coffee Scrub.

I applied it using a dry exfoliation brush that I got from bath and body works. rubbed it on my skin for about 5 mins then rinsed. It was awesome and left my skin so soft and moisture. Again the smell of coffee is too overwhelming I absolutely loved it, I kind of tried it on my face too, the sticker on the jar says bath scrub so I’m guessing face included lol. Anyway my skin didn’t breakout thank god, so I think it’s effective on the face too, just don’t scrub so hard and use your fingers for the face not the brush.

The jar should last for good three times use, I kept mine in the refrigerator just in case.

Okay, so here’s some more information about the benefits of coffee for the skin:

  1. It is one of the best natural remedies to treat acne as it exfoliates the skin deeply.
  2. It is known that cellulite can be reduced by exfoliation as the blood remains in constant circulation, but cellulite’s number 1 enemy is caffeine which is full of antioxidants that help reduce the appearance of cellulite.
  3. Tightens the skin when applied topically.
  4. Smells amazing.

The Hair Oil:

I’m not too big on using hair oil treatments but this bottle came with pretty simple instructions, massage for five minutes, keep for two hours and rinse.. So I gave it a try.

Ladies and Gentlemen: This may just be the cure..

I think the oil is a mixture of coconut oil and something else, and we all know of the miracles of coconut oil for everything.

My Experience:

After two hours the oil was absorbed well, it smelled like coconut oil and something else (I can’t make it out exactly), but it was an okay subtle smell, didn’t bother me at all since the oil is meant for pre-washing treatment.

I used it twice in a week and a half, my hair is just above my shoulders so I’m only halfway through the bottle. I can’t tell you I’ve seen significant change but my hair does feel a little healthier and stronger.

Soul & Skin: Reem sells her products through her instagram account.. She does have other treatments, if you wish to know more about what she has do check out her account here.

Thank you Reem for sharing your products with me, I believe I would definitely get another jar of the scrub.

Thank you so much for reading, I hope you have a pleasant Friday.

Much love,

Zahrakaz
