How to look professional on budget & tips on where to shop
How many women do you know in 2017 who are just one thing? not many I would say since most of the women I know are students, mothers, business owners, workers, chefs, community supporters, influencers, Reiki masters, travelers, artists, strong women who work abroad. Intellectual Arab women who have more opportunities than ever available to them and are not afraid of the challenge.
These are some of the women I know, how many do you know who are working hard and doing something good in their lives?
I like to keep myself busy all the time, I feel like there isn’t a moment where I’m not doing anything, for me working is learning and you can’t ever get close to learning everything, this is very exciting since you know that no matter how much you know, there’ll always be something new you can learn and experience, isn’t that exciting?? Feels good.
So why not dress the part? it has been scientifically proven that the way you dress has an effect on your body and emotions and contributes to your productivity level. Ok I don’t know that for sure but do Google it and let me know, I’m sure there’s something like that out there.
So how much clothes should you have in your wardrobe? how much of your salary should you spend on clothes?
Read This Carefully:
- You don’t have to buy an expensive Burberry blouse for work, if you’re anything like me you’ll probably end up spilling coffee all over yourself at some point. You can find a lot of trendy blouses at more budget friendly stores like H&M, Forever 21, Zara, Mango, Splash & Max.
- It’s very important that your clothes fit you. you can have them tailored from scratch or have any loose fit altered to better fit your size. When your clothes fit you well they look more expensive!!
- No matchy-matchy, if you’re wearing a statement piece, let it take the center stage, don’t match your shoes with your bag and your necklace, you’ll look trashy even if you’ve spent thousands on high end brands. So, do not wear more than one statement piece at a time.
- Less is more, try to tone down everything mix a little bit of your own style with one of your fashion icons.

Now this is just me, but as far as how I treat myself I’d rather invest my money on healthy grocery, good makeup, beauty creams and some other things. I do purchase luxury brands from time to time, but my wardrobe isn’t filled with them, I have a few pieces here and there and guess what, I still look professional! #GIRLBOSS
And finally, please keep in mind that no matter what you do in life, no matter what your job is, even if you’re a stay at home mommy, you are incredibly strong, be proud of who you are an what you’ve accomplished. So here’s to all the mothers who’re up at 4 am breastfeeding their children and on their feet again by 6 am ready for work, to the wives who work shifts with horrible working hours, to the doctors who save lives, to all the single mothers who work more than one job, to the readers and thinkers, to all the university students walking into their dream jobs, to all great women, may we know them, may we be them, may we raise them.
