Dior vs. Guerlain Mascara Review
I hope you’re all having a great summer. I have been purchasing a lot more makeup than I used to since I started blogging, which is great because I got to know all these brands that are so much better than what I was used to.
I’ve been searching for the perfect mascara for a while and the pink crazy volume mascara by essence has been all the rage lately and I get it, for it’s price is even better than some of the high end brands, I’ve been using it for a couple of months now but I’ve decided to try something else for a change, especially that it doesn’t give me the volume I want for a night look.
I recently purchased the Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire mascara and Dior Pump N Volume mascara. This is my unfiltered review of both plus a side by side comparison.
Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire mascara
the packaging is so stylish which earns this mascara extra points. I absolutely loved the wand, the mascara formula volumized but did not lengthen my short lashes. The round tip on the end helps to intensify and define the areas you want, it’s very easy to use. I would use this mascara if I’m going for a natural look, it’s one of the best choices to perfect a daytime look.
Dior Pump N Volume mascara
This is the mascara that doesn’t dry easily because of its packaging, Dior has created a squeezable container! the tube or container is made of soft and squeezable rubber. When you squeeze the mascara, it loads the wand with the mascara formula you need to create long and thick lashes. The bristles on the wand helped spread the mascara nicely, gave me long lashes and separated my lashes beautifully, I applied two coats to get this result.
I wore both mascaras for a few hours, they did not transfer on my eyelids, I even went out in this hot humid weather and nothing happened to my mascara.
